As I headed down the hallway, I saw Dave and the kids leave the room where the program was and head around the corner. When I found them, I saw Dave talking with the concierge. I'd told the staffer that Max had special needs, and that he'd been to the program before. I reassured him that we'd do something else that was fun and that we'd have an ice-cream party at home.
